It’s your right to freely celebrate America’s day of independence Valley style. No one throws a 4th of July celebration like the Mad River Valley. For 74 years, the community has come together to celebrate all walks of life. Through art, music, and performance, it’s a truly unique way to celebrate the USA. Now you can probably assume, I’m referencing mostly to the Warren 4th of July parade – but, there’s so much more going on all weekend long.
Freedom to Parade
Celebrate all weekend long with us at Sugarbush but start your Independence Day with the Warren 4th of July Parade. Be ready to witness an eclectic and wildly expressive parade, as locals and businesses boast their freedom of speech! It’s expected to be about an hour long starting at 10am. Arrive early (like 8 AM early to make sure you get a comfortable spot) and in your best patriotic and free spirited attire! Let Sounds of Freedom Ring
Lawson’s Finest Liquids have sponsored 12 musical acts to let sounds of freedom ring all weekend long! There will be live music in the courtyard from 12pm-9pm Saturday through Tuesday. That’s right, peak summertime vibes with refreshments and jams in the base area. Artists include local faves, The Grift, Quasi Kings, The Detonators, Al’s Pals, Guitfiddle, Kip and Coe, and DJ Chris Logan.
Liberty and Activities for All
We’ve lucked out this year with a 4-day weekend to celebrate, and Sugarbush has tons for you to do. Starting Saturday, July 1st we’ll have daily activities going on for everyone to enjoy through July 4th. Along with regular mountain activities including mountain biking and disc golf, you can find tie dye, rubber ducky drop and a snow gun waterfall! Thanks to Lawson’s Finest Liquids and Barr Hill Gin we’ll also have FREE scenic lift rides on the 4th! Be sure to check out the full event lineup and make the most of the holiday weekend.
