Going to the Dark Side

In just a few weeks Sugarbush will be Going to the Dark Side. I’m sure the whole country is aware at this point that there will be a Total Solar Eclipse happening on April 8th. Sugarbush will be in the line of totality for a whopping 54 seconds of darkness. And to celebrate, we’re throwing a party! Be here to witness this once in a lifetime spectacle from our mountain. Prepare for epic spring skiing all morning and an après party like no other. There will be specialty beverages, food, experiences, merchandise and more! Whether on hill or off, you’re sure to have a great view of the Valley becoming covered in darkness in the middle of the day.

The Details

Live Après Music: The Grift will be covering the entirety of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon in the Lincoln Peak Courtyard.

See it from the Summit: Grab one of only 12 seats in our cabin cat that will bring you to the summit of Mt. Ellen. This is a limited offer where there will be no services available at the summit so come with a small pack that might include an extra layer and some snacks.

Lift Schedule: Lifts shutdown at 3:10 pm and will resume spinning once daylight has returned. Please note, if you plan to take the lift for viewing you must ski down.

Going to the Dark Side

Commemorative Totality-viewing glasses and tee shirts will be for sale in the Adventure Gear Shop!
