Join us for a special screening of The Paradise Paradox, a powerful documentary that sheds light on the mental health crisis impacting mountain towns. In partnership with The Descent to Rise Above Challenge this season, this film screening aims to continue the important conversation about mental health. By breaking down stigmas, recognizing its impact, and building a supportive community, we empower everyone—from our staff to our guests—to care for their mental well-being, not just their physical health. Snow sports have always been about mental resilience. Challenging days on the mountain engage both mind and body. We’re proud to facilitate a discussion on how the outdoors can play a healing role in improving mental health.

About the film

The Descent to Rise Above
We’re proud to say we’re almost at 400 MILLION vertical feet so far for the season! Keep it up!

Don’t forget to share your story with us as you track this season. We’re giving away WEEKLY prizes from our friends at Dakine, The North Face, Darn Tough VT and more! Snap a photo or two of your day at Sugarbush, tell us why getting out on the hill improves your mental well-being, and use #beoneofabillion on social media to be automatically entered to win. Every lap counts to reach our goal of skiing and riding A BILLION VERTICAL FEET this season. All of this is an effort to raise mental health awareness, and donate $50,000 to a New England nonprofit specializing in the healing of mental and emotional trauma.
