Up and up and up we go! The Descent to Rise Above Challenge continues as the season progresses. If you’ve been following the journey, we’ve been tracking collectively to reach 1 BILLION vertical feet this season! This feat is all for mental health awareness. We are excited to be working as a community to hit to slopes and track all for the goal of donating $50,000 to a New England based non-profit, NFI. This past week, we’ve seen our greatest rise in vertical feet tracked this season yet. You all came out and helped to track 50 million vertical feet!! This has brought us up to almost 400 million vertical feet tracked this season so far. If we keep up this pace, we’ll be hitting our goal in no time! Don’t forget to keep tracking, and for a little incentive, to share your story and photos through #beoneofabillion, we’re giving away prizes weekly.
A Special Thank You
A select few of you came out last week, shared your photos with us, and contributed at least 8,000 vertical feet to the challenge! These 5, were out special Monday winners in addition to the single winners we have been announcing on social media every Friday. Check them out!

Congratulations to the five winners @andrew.in.vt, @kristibach, @suzbaru, @frankie_evangelistaa and @bjadly15!
They each won a limited Descent Challenge Beanie, sticker, and a$50 Sugarbush gift card!

A Little Lift Line Love
We took to the lines last Saturday to spread a little love, for you, our guests. Loaded up with Descent beanies, stickers, and some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, our goal was to surprised our loyal guests who have been tracking with these goodies. And what a surprise it was! Everyone was out enjoying the sunshine and tracking in the Sugarbush and Ikon apps. Here’s a little recap of the morning:
