John arrived at Sugarbush in 2011 and quickly became a fixture. A Vermont native and proud Scorpio, he’s passionate about sugaring and makes his own maple syrup. When he's not skiing or tending to his sugar shack, he's deep into ornithology, especially birds of prey. A lover of jazz and John Williams, John’s always enjoying life’s simpler pleasures. Now the Public Relations and Communications Manager, he’s the genius behind combining multiple newsletters into the SugarBlog to share all the good stuff.
Allie's Sugarbush journey began in 2014 when she rolled into the Valley chasing the dream of full-time ski bum glory—but one thing led to another, and she found herself on ski patrol. Falling head over heels (sometimes literally) for the mountains. She eventually swapped her seasonal dirtbag lifestyle for year-round mountain ops. In 2024, an injury benched her just long enough to join the marketing team, where she now spreads stoke and mountain magic in different ways. When not sidelined, she’s out racking up over 100 days a season, living by her personal mantra: there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad gear—and maybe bad snacks.
Corinne joined Sugarbush in 2022, bringing her adventurous spirit and enthusiasm for skiing to the team—though between you and me, she’s secretly more of an ice skater. An Aquarius with a creative eye, Corinne’s a bit like a French pastry—delicate, but packed with flavor and depth. Originally from New Jersey, she grew up visiting the Valley in the summer, making her a big fan of sun-soaked days. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her capturing the perfect shot or hanging out with her dogs.
Megan joined Sugarbush in 2018, arriving with a snowboard in one hand and a sourdough starter in the other. She firmly believes life is like making sourdough: you’ve got to nurture it, feed it, and sometimes just let it sit there and ferment while you figure things out. When she’s not chasing her kids or perfecting the rise on her latest loaf, you’ll find her lighting a candle and belting out Beyoncé hits (because, obviously, she woke up like this).
Lucy started in 2023 as a snow reporter at Sugarbush, bringing all the fierce Scorpio energy you can handle. She discovered skiing in college and became completely obsessed, like most Scorpios with a new hobby. Lucy isn’t just about shredding—she’s also a Long Trail conqueror, taking on challenges like they’re no big deal. When she’s off the clock, she can usually be found on her porch, sipping a Fiddlehead, doing a crossword puzzle, or hanging out with the neighborhood cats (they’re her crew). Fun fact: Lucy’s never seen a moose, but she has had an epic run-in with Bernie Sanders on Church Street. And just for kicks, she can do the worm. You’re welcome.
