Have you driven by the golf course in the last couple of weeks? Or better yet played a round? As you may recall from last fall, our old historic clubhouse, which held our Pro Shop and Hogan’s Pub, burned down. While many of us were overcoming the sadness of losing such a historic building, the team was already hard at work setting up a new facility in time for this summer.
The new building consists of two parts: the Pro Shop and our new restaurant, The Clubhouse. This new facility is located across the road from the old one, up near the 1st tee box or below the 9th fairway. It still gives incredible sweeping views into the Valley, though now you also benefit from seeing a gorgeous vista of Lincoln Peak over the 7th fairway.
After the views, the next thing you’ll notice is the AC. Remember how hot that old building would get? Our staff certainly did. Now you open doors into cool air circulating both through the Pro Shop and restaurant.
The Pro Shop is stocked up and has everything you need from golf gear to apparel. Roger and Matt have done a great job restocking their inventory after losing much of it in the fire and with the added space now in this shop, there should be plenty of opportunity to continue growing their offerings in the seasons to come.
The Clubhouse is now complete with both indoor, air conditioned seating with tables and a bar, or outdoor seating on the new huge deck offering incredible views. The menu has also been updated, bringing back favorites from the past with new offerings this season. Not to mention, The Clubhouse offers Half-Price Burger Night every Thursday and live music on the deck every Friday. The golf course has always been one of the best places to dine al fresco and take in the sights and that hasn’t changed with this new facility. I couldn’t recommend it enough.
