Saturday Nights at Walt’s After Dark

Missing the old days of night laps at your small hometown mountain? Itching for something to do in the Valley Saturday nights which can be…hard to find to say the least. For all you night owls out there, this one’s for you. Walt’s After Dark is officially returning for this season every Saturday night. That’s right. Each week you’ll get the chance to enjoy the mountain after the sun goes down. With grilled cheeses, local beers, and did someone say karaoke?! You’ll just have to head up to see just what might happen.

The Details

Every Saturday night Walt’s at the Glen House over at Mt. Ellen will be open late for you Saturday night fiends. From 4PM – 8PM the bar and kitchen will stay open for all your après needs. This is open for all, as long as you can get up the mountain! If you’re like me, you’d take the last chair up GMX and hang until the end of the night. If you’re more the adventurous type, hike or skin up the new uphill route weather permitting. Either way, there’s food, drinks, and a good time waiting for you at the Glen House. You’ve got options to get up there but there’s only one way down. And at the end of the night, strap on your headlamp for a ski or ride back to the base.

I won’t say don’t go too hard, but the stories of that ski down are, well…you’ll see. We hope to see you out there, under the stars!
