Our biggest daytime concert of the season is back! Spring Fling is an annual rite of spring (following Pond Skim, of course) and each year gets bigger and better than the last. We are thrilled to be putting on another concert to celebrate spring rolling in, the end of an incredible season, and an excuse to soak in as many courtyard vibes as we possibly can. The best part? It’s free! And with a few tricks up our sleeve this year, it’s an event you will not want to miss. From the solidddd music lineup, to our partners showing up in a fun way, and spring skiing duh! It’s going to a fun filled fay for the entire family.

Talking Dreads
Since debuting his musically revolutionary Talking Dreads project live at the High Times Music Festival on the beach in Negril in late 2015, the charismatic Jamaican-born singer Mystic Bowie and his band Talking Dreads have electrified audiences at over 100 shows across North America – spinning the heads of initially skeptical Talking Heads fans, and getting everyone else grooving along to the infectious, joyous rhythms and jubilant spirit of his native island.
Reggae DJ Sattta Sound will set the tone throughout the day and in between acts with headliner Talking Dreads set to take the stage at 2:30 PM.

What to Expect
On the day of Spring Fling, you can expect a lot! We will be holding our annual Food Drive for the Mad River Valley Community Pantry, so be sure to bring some pantry goods to drop in the bin at Lincoln Peak! We’ve also been working with our friends over at Heinz to bring some zest to your lunch during the event. So keep an eye out for that in the courtyard! Plus, be sure to come photo-ready with your friends and family! We don’t want to give too much away, but we’re pretty stoked on a little surprise for you all coming to the courtyard for Spring Fling. All of this will be going on while music is flowing through the courtyard. Rumble’s, Castlerock Pub, The Container Bar and the Lunch Box will be open and serving bites and bevys all day long.

The Descent to Rise Above Challenge
This season, participate in a challenge to raise up to $50,000 for mental wellness and resilience by skiing and riding a BILLION vertical feet in a single season. But on a slightly more purposeful level, the Challenge looks to create chances to connect and possibly share some of the less-than-comfortable stories we all may carry. Lift rides and long runs tend to be great conversation starters. They’re also great for showcasing a boundless remedy that’s right beneath our boots: the infinite healing power offered by the outdoors.
