The Best Bites at Sugarbush

As a new employee at Sugarbush it was my goal to try all the dining outlets and find the best ones. Overall, I can’t really complain, but as a foodie (and vegetarian!) I’m always looking for quality, diverse menus. In my research I’ve found across the board, Sugarbush just does it right. From quick serve to table side dining, bars and mid-mountain lodges, you’ll never be at a loss for dining options here. I’ve narrowed down some crave-worthy favorites that you’ll need to check out next time you’re visiting. I’m talking drinks, views, and the perfect après.

Brunch at Rumble’s Bistro and Bar

Looking for a more elevated sit down breakfast? Look no further. Brunch at Rumble’s is the place to be every weekend! From savory to sweet options, meat-filled or vegetarian – there’s plenty of choices to start your day off right. Take the savory route and go for a Rumble’s Benedict or sweeten it up with Nana’s Pancakes. With morning cocktails like mimosas and hot toddies, there’s no way to have a bad morning at Rumble’s.

Allyn’s Lodge

Allyn’s Lodge is a crowd favorite. Newly revamped, this mid-mountain lodge features a brand new bar, flatbread pizzas, and gourmet hot dogs. Halfway up to Lincoln Peak, it offers stunning views and makes for the perfect pit stop right on the mountain. And, if you’re feeling extra fancy, Allyn’s Lodge offers intimate fireside dinners by way of the brand new Cabin Cat.

Green Mountain Lounge

GML is that classic New England pub we all know and love. It features great classic apps and mouthwatering sandwiches to choose from. Got vegetarians with you? Not to worry. You can sub out a black bean burger on any of their sandwiches (I suggest subbing it on the Normandy Burger)! Wash everything down with a local VT beer or a specialty cocktail.

Nomad Coffee

A latte from Nomad Coffee is the perfect pick-me-up to keep you on the slopes all afternoon. They feature locally sourced coffee from Brio Coffeeworks to make you up everything from cortados to a café au lait. Not to mention they have a tea selection (the chai is my favorite!) and hot chocolate made with house-made mocha. Stop by on the weekends to grab their famous baked goods for a quick bite and stay to warm up while the snow falls.

Miso Toh Kome

Miso Toh Kome is the perfect ski-up location for a quick bite! Featuring their famous savory house-made Miso soup (gf/vegan!) or any of their delicious rice balls. Each are stuffed with delectable fillings like cha-su pork, spicy tuna-mayo, or braised shiitake and tofu. If you’re looking for something that’s handheld yet packs a punch, fill up at Miso Toh Kome!
