A Winter Well Spent – Save Now on 21/22 Season Passes

As you may know, 21/22 Season Passes went on sale last week. For the avid skiers and riders, you probably know that the Spring Pass Sale provides the best prices on Season Passes of the year. So, if you’re thinking you may want to spend all season long out on the slopes, now is the time to commit!

Our pass offerings changed a bit when we joined the Alterra Mountain Company family last year. Now, you’ll notice more options and pass capabilities than ever before. When trying to decide which pass is right for you, there are a few things to keep in mind – Your age, when you prefer to ski/ride, how often you ski/ride, and where you like to ski/ride. If you narrow those preferences down, finding the right pass fit will be easy!

Ikon Pass

The Ikon Pass is AMC’s (Alterra Mountain Company) most expansive pass with lots of pass holder benefits, and unlimited access to 43 destinations worldwide. With 2020 being the year of the staycation, maybe you’re excited to travel a bit more next winter. This is the perfect pass for that! The Ikon Pass not only gets you access to many other resorts but still provides unlimited access to Sugarbush.

Ikon Base Pass

If you’re someone that prefers not to ski on holiday weekends, the Ikon Base Pass is a good fit for you. The Ikon Base Pass offers unlimited skiing and riding at 13 destinations, and 5 days each at the 28 others. Sugarbush is one of the destinations that offers unlimited skiing and riding with this pass. So, if you travel here and there for a week at a time, but spend most of your days at Sugarbush, the Ikon Base Pass is a perfect fit. While you’re shopping, make sure to check out the Ikon Base Plus Pass, which includes Jackson Hole and Aspen Snowmass.

Sugarbush Premium Pass

The Sugarbush Premium Pass gets you unlimited access to only Sugarbush Resort. But before you decide you’d like to stick to riding here next season, it’s important to notice that age brackets and offerings have changed a bit. For some age groups, you’ll find the most value in going with an Ikon Pass or an Ikon Base Pass. Sugarbush pass holders also get 50% lift tickets at other Mountain Collective partners.

Sugarbush Value Pass

If you have a love for Mt. Ellen, some midweek flexibility, only want to visit Sugarbush this season, and/or prefer not to ski on holiday weekends, the Value Pass is a perfect option for you! The Value Pass offers daily access to Mt. Ellen, midweek non-holiday access to Lincoln Peak, and early/late season access to Lincoln Peak when Mt. Ellen is not open. Enjoy everything that the mountain has to offer on the quieter days of the week. This option also saves you a little bit of money, too!

Boomer Pass

Back by popular demand… The Boomer Pass is for ages 65 and up, and offers skiing and riding Monday through Friday (non-holiday) at Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen for just $199. Enjoy fresh corduroy all day long and lots of space out on the hill. Please keep in mind that blackout dates do apply.

Ikon Session Pass 4-Day

Sometimes schedules don’t allow for frequent ski days and trips. If this is the case for you, the Ikon Session Pass is a great and flexible option! Choose from 37 destinations (including Sugarbush) for four days total of skiing and riding. New resorts included in this pass are Copper Mountain in Colorado, Niseko United in Japan, Mt. Bachelor in Oregon, and more!

Benefits & Add-Ons

Adventure Assurance is back for another season for both Ikon Passes and Sugarbush Local Passes, giving your more confidence in your pass decisions. This gives you the option to defer and receive a full credit of the purchased pass toward a 22/23 Ikon Pass if you are not able to use your pass during the 21/22 season. Payment plans through Affirm are also available for any pass offering this year as well! Giving you the flexibility to pay your 21/22 pass over time.

Another new add-on for this year is the For30s Sugarbush Golf Membership. Add a season of golf to your season pass for just $549 for ages 30-39. For other age groups, be sure to view our full list of offerings and prices.

The above perks of being a pass holder are only just the beginning. From early ups to lodging discounts, the benefits of purchasing a pass are endless. And don’t forget, if you buy your season pass during the Spring Sale, you’ll get FREE skiing and riding at Sugarbush after April 5th!
