Celebrating Local Art With Mad River Valley Arts Rotating Exhibition

Sugarbush has been a long time partner of Mad River Valley Arts. They are an organization that speaks to some of our core values. Supporting our local community and fostering creativity among all ages is something we are proud of. Contributing to the promotion of not only local artists and their work, but encouraging our guests and community members to experience artistic spaces is a big part of our partnership with Mad River Valley Arts. Last winter season, we introduced our very first art exhibition in partnership with MRVA right here at the resort. Three artists displayed their work in the Rumble’s foyer. We are thrilled to provide a space for local painters, photographers, and more, to showcase their work to people who may have not ever comes across it otherwise. This year we are continuing the art exhibition with three new artists!

Mad River Valley Arts is an organization that works to foster and maintain the creative potential of craft and design in Vermont. They understand that art supports the agency to create stories and value the responsibility of linking art and the environment. MRVA facilitates workshops, artist talks, and tours in addition to their year-round exhibition and event programs. They aim to inspire residents and visitors alike to embrace their artistic growth and join the community of creatives in our arts-centric Valley.

About The Gallery Opening

Located in the waiting area just outside of Rumble’s Bistro & Bar, three new artists have their work displayed. With distinct styles of paintings, this exhibition showcases unique pieces of art inspired by the Mad River Valley and beyond. It is open to the public, so feel free to peruse the space on your own. We will be hosting an opening reception with MRVA on Saturday, October 12th at 5 PM. Join us as and check out the work, hear from the artists, and learn more about this local organization. It is free and light bites will be provided.
