Celebrate the end of summer with us! Make the most out of your last weekend of fun in the sun before the cool weather sets in. At Sugarbush, we embrace the changing of the seasons. They welcome fresh starts, new opportunities, and bring us that much closer to opening day. But, summer is one of those season I think we all try to hang onto as much as we can before we just can’t grasp onto it any longer. So, this Labor Day weekend we’re continuing to celebrate everything we love about summer! For us, that means being outdoors. This holiday weekend we have featured events, mountain activities, and more for you to explore. Come and spend the day or plan a spontaneous weekend getaway. For anyone coming to the mountain this weekend, there is tons of adventure to be had!
Featured Events
8/30: Coca Cola Family Movie Night
Join us for a movie under the stars! Coca Cola Family Movie Nights are FREE for any guests on and off the resort. Our featured film will be projected on our jumbo inflatable screen in the grass next to the Gate House Lodge. Come grab your spot early and enjoy some complimentary popcorn and s’mores too! The showing will begin at 8:30 PM and feature an 80’s classic…The Goonies! Be sure to bring your own blankets and camp chairs, as seating will not be provided. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at Rumble’s.
8/31: Music on the Mountain
Take a scenic lift ride up to Allyn’s Lodge for an outdoor concert on the mountain! Join us from 1-4PM for featured band, Running in Circles. A variety of snacks, sandwiches, beer and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Pack up your favorite blanket or camp chairs into a bag (no loose items on the lift please!) and bring them to enjoy some tunes with a view. Lift ticket purchase is required to ride Super Bravo to the concert, be sure to purchase ahead of time to save! 24/25 Ikon Pass and 24/25 Local Pass holders ride for free, or you can hike up. Be sure to pack water (sorry, no potable water at Allyn’s), sunscreen, and bug spray for an afternoon of fun! This is a shine only event. In case of inclement weather, Music on the Mountain will be moved to the courtyard or into Rumble’s.
Mountain Activities
Scenic Lift Ride
Enjoy summer on the mountain with a leisurely scenic lift ride! Bring your own picnic to Allyn’s Lodge or take a hike around Lincoln Peak. Ride up, hike down. Hike up, ride down. Or ride both ways.
Disc Golf
Sugarbush’s Disc Golf Course features a total of 18 holes in the base area and through the woods among the lower trails. The Sugarbush Disc Golf Course is open 24/7. Please make sure to self-pay online before starting. Or on the weekends stop by the Adventure Gear Shop.
SHARC Pool
The SHaRC’s outdoor pool offers cool waters against the summer heat, beers and other beverages and mountain views. Plus, there’s a hot tub for soaking and if you’re looking to give the kids a priceless skill, group swim lessons are available.

Plan a last minute stay with an extra night FREE!
Between sleeping in, swimming holes, sipping suds, scenic hikes/bikes, and a round or two of golf… there really is too much to do in just two days. Hence, the Long Weekend. When you book a Friday and Saturday night this summer and fall, we’ll throw in a free Thursday or Sunday night on us, so you don’t miss out on any and all of the adventurous fun waiting for you in the Mad River Valley.
