President’s Week Line Up of Events Sugarbush
Warren, VT (February 14, 2023) – President’s Week activities and events will commence at Sugarbush starting 2/18 with a full calendar of activities through 2/24.
We’re kicking off the week with MoonBikes Demos Saturday 2/18 and Sunday 2/19 from 9 AM – 3:30 PM at the Sugarbush Resort Golf Club. MoonBikes provide a new way to enjoy winter activities, blurring the lines between recreation and transportation. Stick around Saturday for ongoing events including the weekly Blizzard Boogie, Live Apres Music, and Walt’s After Dark. End your evening with a Fireworks Snowshoe Tour or head to the Lincoln Peak Courtyard to see the annual President’s Day Weekend Fireworks and Torchlight Parade.
Sunday join us for Bad Ski Outfit Day Wear Your Worst and enter the contest to win great prizes. An Ice Carving Demonstration will be taking place with Wicked Good Ice in the Lincoln Peak Courtyard from 11 AM – 2 PM, and Live Apres Music continues through the weekend.
President’s Day head up the Village Quad and take a whack at the Rubber Ducky Drop being introduced for its winter version.Test your aim and land your Ducky from the lift into the bucket under Tower 1 to win a prize. Get ready for another Blizzard Boogie and head to the Sleeper Room in the Gate House Cafeteria to get your Face Painted before spending time with DJ Patrick Quimby. Live Apres Music is to follow in the Lincoln Peak Courtyard.
Tuesday afternoon is filled with music across the resort. The party continues with another Blizzard Boogie in the courtyard followed by Live Apres Music. That evening head to Castlerock Pub for their Fat Tuesday Party. Celebrate Fat Tuesday or just a great day of skiing, with the Bourbon Street Dets from 3 PM – 6 PM.
Wednesday the groove continues with a Blizzard Boogie in the courtyard followed by Live Apres Music. Spend the evening under the stars with your family at Family Stargazing with Vaughn. Join us weather dependent and explore the universe. Limited amounts of binoculars are available – we encourage you to bring your own binoculars or telescope if you have them. Hot Chocolate will be served and a fire will be lit to keep you toasty.
If you missed your shot, try again for another Rubber Ducky Drop at the Village Quad on Thursday. Celebrate your winnings at the Blizzard Boogie in the Lincoln Peak Courtyard. If you’re in the mood to be amazed, head to the Gate House Lodge Cafeteria and see Marko the Magician doing tableside magic.
Friday rounds off the events with the Blizzard Boogie and Live Apres Music continuing in the Lincoln Peak Courtyard. And if you missed him, Marko the Magician will be back to perform in the Gate House Lodge. Later, check out High Energy Juggling with Jason Tardy and enjoy the spectacle of fast-paced juggling. That night, take the family out to see Alyx the Magician One Woman Show taking place in the Gate House Lodge from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
These featured events and more are going on at Sugarbush during the holiday week. Also enjoy apres groomer rides, À La Carte Dinners at Allyn’s Lodge, and group classes at SHaRC. There’s plenty to enjoy on and off the mountain this February!
