Morning Cat Ski & Ride Tours at Sugarbush Resort
At Sugarbush, being an early bird comes with some pretty great perks, like first tracks. The Private Cat Ski & Ride Tour gives you the mountain almost entirely to yourself. Get early-morning laps on untouched powder or freshly groomed corduroy before the lifts even start turning.
You’ll ride up in our enclosed PistenBully Husky Cat and explore terrain off the North Lynx Triple Chair. Don’t worry, you’ll be right alongside our knowledgeable Sugarbush mountain team. Expect incredible views, a small group vibe, and a totally unique way to experience the mountain before the day officially begins.

Looking for a winter adventure that doesn’t involve clicking into skis? A private Husky Cat ride to the summit of Lincoln Peak is one of Sugarbush’s most laid-back (and most scenic) experiences. This cozy, one-hour ride in a heated, glass-enclosed cat is perfect for families, non-skiers, or anyone who wants to check something unforgettable off their Sugarbush bucket list.
You’ll cruise above the Heaven’s Gate Quad toward the site of the original Sugarbush Gondola. Routes change depending on snow condition. Your driver knows all the best spots and is happy to help snap photos at the summit. Whether you’re chasing golden-hour light or starlit nighttime views, it’s a relaxed, memorable way to experience Lincoln Peak from above.

The Allyn’s Lodge Experience is all about slowing things down and soaking it all in. Your evening starts with a scenic ride up Lincoln Peak in a heated cabin cat (or, if you’re feeling adventurous, a guided snowshoe or skin up to the lodge).
Inside, you’ll find a cozy, candlelit setting and a dining experience that feels truly special. Vermont-inspired dishes, a crackling fire, and options ranging from public dinners to private, multi-course meals. Afterward, cap off the night with a peaceful moonlit ski down a freshly groomed trail with ski patrol, or kick back and ride the cabin cat back to the base. It’s equal parts adventure, comfort, and mountain magic.
Make It a Night to Remember at Walt’s at Mt. Ellen

Renting Walt’s at the Glen House turns a winter evening into something truly special. It’s a private, after-hours experience at Mt. Ellen. This is perfect for celebrations, night skiing, or just gathering your crew for a memorable night on the mountain.
Getting there is part of the fun. You can hike or skin up, catch the last chair, or ride in comfort in a heated cabin cat. Once you arrive, Walt’s is yours. Grab a drink, enjoy snacks or dinner, take in the views, and even add a starlight summit tour for part of your group. Wrap up the night with a quiet ski or ride down with ski patrol or a cozy cabin cat ride back to the base. It’s low-key, adventurous, and the kind of night people talk about long after winter’s over.
