Something we take pride in here at Sugarbush is the variety of events we’re able to provide our guests each and every season. Our events calendar grows every year with events for the whole family! From opening day to close, there’s always something going on around the resort. This season, we’ve brought back crowd favorites like Pride Weekend, Pond Skimming, and Spring Fling. We’ve also sprinkled in some new and exciting events like Comedy Nights at Castlerock Pub and a Solar Eclipse Viewing Party! Take a look at what we have in store for the upcoming months. Headliner Events You Won’t Want to Miss
Coming up right around the corner is our annual Sugarbash! On December 9th come party in the Gate House Lodge. There will be live music featuring the Grippo Funk Band, a cash bar available, and good vibes all around!
One of my personal favorites is our annual NYE Fireworks and Torchlight Parade! Grab your spot in the courtyard for the firework display, and don’t miss the traditional Torch Light Parade either. Stick around because we’ll be partying into the evening with the Detonators in Castlerock Pub, playing us right into the new year!
Have you heard? Mt. Ellen turns 60 this year! To celebrate, we’re hosting a Mt. Ellen 60th Anniversary Party over at the Green Mountain Lounge. On January 27th join us for live music, Red Bull DJ Truck, food and drinks. Bring your skis, board, and a helmet to enjoy a Rail Jam Session under the lights at the bottom of Straight Shot presented by the Sugarbush PARKS crew.
This spring the Sugarbush Wall of Fame Celebration will be returning. Join us in March at the Gate House Lodge to induct our Class of 2023. Each year we celebrate Sugarbush Legends and there’s still time to nominate anyone who brings the spirit of adventure and camaraderie to Sugarbush!
Sugarbush is thrilled to announce our Second Annual Pride Weekend coming this spring! Over the weekend of April 6th, this inclusive event is meant for all our guys, gals, and non-binary ski pals to get together and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. With lots of family friendly events, parade, music and more, it will be a weekend you’ll want to be a part of!
Pond Skimming will be making its return April 6th! As one of our most popular events of the season, you’ll want to be at this Annual Rite of Spring. Partake in the plunge across the 120ft. pond or spectate from the crowd.
Join us for our Solar Eclipse Viewing Party on April 8th. From 3:26 – 3:29 pm EST, the sun will be completely blocked by the moon as it passes between the sun and Earth. Stay tuned for more information regarding this event!
Finally, Spring Fling will be making a comeback on April 13th! This annual concert is our biggest event of the season. With live music from 1 – 7 pm, it’s a party in the courtyard all day long! Get some spring turns in and stay for an evening of tunes.
Recurring Events this Season
We’re bringing the Blizzard Boogie back! Every Saturday party in the courtyard with DJ Patrick Quimby, swag giveaways and the best après vibes around.
New for the season is Comedy Nights at Castlerock Pub. Grab some food and drinks and enjoy rotating comedians this winter! These events will be free entry and recommended for 18+ guests.
On clear nights this winter enjoy Family Stargazing Nights with Vaughn! Fun for the whole family, explore our solar system, the stars in the sky, and some constellations’ folk lore too. We encourage you to bring your own binoculars or telescope if you have them!
There’s going to be so much Live Après Music across the resort this year! Rotating musicians will be performing at Castlerock Pub, Rumble’s Bistro & Bar, the Wunderbar, Green Mountain Lounge, and in the Lincoln Peak Courtyard. Times and locations will vary week to week.
We’ve got some great live entertainment lined up for this season! See performers like Marko the Magician, Wicked Good Ice Carving, caricature artists, Juggling with Jason Tardy, and Blue Trunk Balloon.
