Resort-Wide Fun and Adventure with Presidents’ Week Events and More!

There are so. many. things. happening this President’s Week! That’s right, with February break mixed in there, we take advantage of the whole dang week to bring you endless activities and fun. Special holiday events begin Saturday the 17th and continue through Sunday the 25th! Alongside our usual mountain activities (plus highest percentage of open terrain in the Northeast!!) we have NEW events plus returning favorites you won’t want to miss. Keep an eye out for a Very Presidential State of the Mountain Report from Lucy, to get an idea of conditions rolling into the weekend. Let’s take a look at what’s happening across the resort during Presidents’ Week!

Headlining Events for Everyone

2/17 Late Night Music: The Detonators are taking over Castlerock Pub from 7 – 10 PM for some late night tunes.

2/18 Ice Carving Demonstration: Wicked Good Ice will be back to create another masterpiece in the Lincoln Peak Courtyard!

2/19 Paradise Beer Tasting: Join Mount Holly Beer for 2 tastings of Paradise Provisions’ very on brews in Rumble’s and at Paradise Provisions.

2/20 Firefighter Obstacle Course: Head to the SHaRC for the Warren Fire Department’s Winter Fundraiser for adults and kids! Famous firefighter chili and drinks will be available for purchase.

2/21 VINS Meet and Greet: Meet and learn about birds of prey with the Vermont Institute of Natural Science!

2/22 Golf Clinic with Roger King: Increase your driving distance with the help of PGA pro Roger King in the new Sports SIM Suites at the SHaRC. Limited availability and advanced registration required.

2/23 Live with Chadwick Stokes of Dispatch: Enjoy a tuned-filled night in support of a great organization where all ticket profits benefit Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports. Tickets will be limited and available online soon. Donations will be accepted at the door.

2/24 Late Night Music: Hoh De Funk will be playing at Castlerock Pub from 7 – 10 PM.

Perfect for Families and Kids

Blizzard Boogie: Sugarbush brings the Blizzard, DJ Patrick Quimby brings the boogie. Fun, family friendly dance party in the Lincoln Peak Courtyard from 2pm-4pm. Lot of cool prizes and give-a-ways. (Recurring)

Marko the Magician: MARKO’s magic is world-class, pure perfection. Join us in The Gate House Lodge for close up magic! (Recurring)

Blue Trunk Balloon: Come enjoy energetic, fun-filled, and engaging balloon twisting in the Lincoln Peak Courtyard! (Recurring)

Family Stargazing with Vaughn: Join us to explore the night sky and learn about the constellations’ folklore! Weather permitting.

High Energy Juggling: Jason Tardy’s show includes innovative choreographed juggling to music, fitting his body through a tennis racket, bowling ball juggling, balancing a ladder on his face, standing on a yoga ball, and if you trust him enough; fire eating and fire breathing!

Alyx the Magician One Woman Show: A returning favorite, Alyx performs over 200 high energy family shows a year. $15+tax pp, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Torchlight Parade and Fireworks Display: Make sure to find your favorite spot to view our spectacular torchlight parade on Spring Fling followed by a fireworks show! Celebrate Presidents Day weekend with an awesome light show up on the mountain. Remember please leave all pets at home.

Celebrate Mt. Ellen’s 60th Anniversary with the Bloody Bar and Brunch at Green Mountain Lounge every Sunday in February!

Recurring Events

#SaturdayAtTheBush Photo Contest: Take your best photo at Sugarbush on Saturday, post on social media with #SaturdayAtTheBush & tag Sugarbush, and win! (Rules apply)

Walt’s After Dark: Ride the last lift, skin, or hike to Walt’s Glen House for dinner and your favorite après beverage. Afterwards, enjoy a ski or ride down under the stars. Weather permitting.

Allyn’s Lodge Fireside À La Carte Dinners: Guests are welcomed to Allyn’s Lodge for an elegant five-course meal. Following the fireside dinner, guests bundle up to either ski or snowboard down a freshly-groomed trail, or descend to the base in the comfort of the heated cabin cat. 

Live Après Music: Enjoy rotating live music acts across the resort Thursdays-Sundays.
