What a great deal huh? Did you know that every time we sell a can of our Castlerock IPA, brewed by Lawson’s Finest Liquids, we donate some of the proceeds as part of our charitable giving initiatives?
The Good Brews For a Cause initiative through Lawson’s is focused on creating special limited release beers that are specifically brewed to raise funds for important causes. So every time you ordered a Castlerock IPA, you were helping contribute money to some great organizations.
In total we raised over $5000 split between two organizations. The first is Protect Our Winters, who focuses on climate change advocacy and protecting the environment. The other organization we donated to was Vermont Adaptive, who as you have likely already know has been hard at work on their sports facility right at our very own Mt. Ellen.
We’re proud to be able to partner with Lawson’s on this initiative. We strive to support a number of non-profit organizations, with a particular emphasis on those that support our local communities in the Mad River Valley, those that support the greater Vermont area, and those that champion outdoor recreation, sustainability, and DEI. Lawson’s, if you’re familiar with them, operates under a similar mentality. Just look at their social media each month to see all the incredible organizations they donate to.
It’s our hope we can continue looking for creative initiatives like this to supplement our charitable giving program. So thank you again your support! It’s a tough job quenching your thirst for a good cause, but hey someone’s got to do it!
