Don’t open that basement or closet door yet! Hold off on stashing your gear away for the summer and join us for a final weekend of skiing of riding. Oh, and stretch out those quads before getting here since we’re looking at just Stein’s Run and Coffee Run laps all day. We did groom Stein’s this week, and early Saturday turns should be smooth, but overall I would expect plenty of big spring bumps forming over the course of two days.
To be able to stay open this late given the tough overall snow season is pretty impressive and our snowmakers, groomers, and other mountain operations staff deserve a huge thank you.
Aside from bump city, there should be plenty of fun happenings in the base area as part of our “Toast to the Season” celebration. Rumble’s Bistro & Bar will be open from 11:00 AM onwards featuring $6.00 pints from some Lawson’s Finest Liquids, Switchback Brewing Company, Zero Gravity Craft Brewery and Fiddlehead Brewing Company. Lawson’s will also be here with plenty of fun give-a-ways.
We’ll also be giving away some sweet swag at the Lincoln Peak Guest Services Desk for all those dressed in their best or worst jean shorts and ripped flannels, Vermont Tuxedos, NEON 80’s ski gear or other fun spring costumes.
And bonus news for all you Boomer Pass holders, your passes are good to go this weekend! All Sugarbush and Ikon Passes, even those of the midweek variety, will be valid May 1-2. Plus, tickets are still available.
