This spring Sugarbush will be hosting its first Pride Weekend Event! We are proud to be offering an inclusive event filled with celebrating, skiing, and so much more. There will be entertainment and activities taking place all weekend long April 1st and 2nd. Everyone is invited to partake and join in the community fun! There will be a parade, DJ, and comedy show just to name a few.
Schedule of Events
Sushi Night at Rumble’s Bistro and Bar 4PM-8PM – Rumble’s will be rolling up a variety of sushi specials on Fridays this winter. Head in for an authentic specials including Gyoza, miso soup, Wakame salad, a range of Maki rolls and Nigiri
Meet the Mountain Tour 10AM – Be guided around the mountain on and off skis to see the best our mountain has to offer. Meet at Guest Services at Lincoln Peak and learn Sugarbush’s history and get insight on the best trails to ski!
Lawson’s Finest Liquids Sampling 12PM-3PM – Lawson’s will be in the courtyard celebrating with samples of their brand new beer, and chances to win some Lawson’s merch too. Stop by for a taste of a local favorite’s newest release!
Pride Parade with Après 1:30PM – Enjoy the high energy atmosphere with DJ Patrick Quimby. A celebratory parade will take over the courtyard for some fabulous fun!
Dance Party 2PM – Immediately following the parade come and show off your best moves in the courtyard. The party will continue with special guest, VT-based drag queen, Emoji Nightmare!
We’ve got entertainment on deck to fill the weekend! Don’t worry though, there will still be plenty of time to get on the mountain. To make the most of it, we’re offering 30% of lodging for Pride Weekend attendees and $99 lift tickets when lodging is booked. With plenty of free events, it’s a great excuse to celebrate all weekend long with friends!
Après Live Music 3PM-6PM – Located in the Castlerock Pub enjoy a killer après scene with the tunes of local musicians.
Comedy Show 6:30PM – Also at Castlerock Pub, there will be 4 LGBTQ comedians featured that include Kendall Farrell, Bailey Pope, Vicki Ferentinos, and Dan Frank.
Karaoke 6:30PM – Keep the good times going and end your evening with Emoji Nightmare at Castlerock Pub and join in with karaoke going on until 10PM!
Drag Brunch 11AM – On Sunday, the festivities won’t be over just yet, with a Drag Brunch taking place at Rumble’s Bistro and Bar. Enjoy a classic Sunday Brunch Buffet with any of Rumble’s signature brunch cocktails ($25/alcohol not included). Emoji Nightmare will be back to lead a 2-hour performance with 4 other guest drag queens! There will be no cover charge, but tips are encouraged for the performers (Venmo tips accepted).
