It’s that time of year again where we celebrate Sugarbush legends and spend the rest of the night partying away! The Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony followed by the Sugarbash Celebration is this Saturday, December 14th in the Gate House Lodge. From 6-7PM we’ll be having a special ceremony celebrating this year’s inductee. Immediately following, the Sugarbash will kick off for a night of tunes, ugly sweaters, and fun! These annual events are family friendly and free, so swing by for celebration and good times.
A Special Wall of Fame Celebration
Recognizing some of the most significant contributors to the Sugarbush experience
The Sugarbush Wall of Fame was established as part of the resort’s 60th anniversary celebration in 2018-2019, and annually recognizes those who have made a significant contribution to “cultivating a spirit of lifelong adventure and camaraderie among Sugarbush staff, guests, and the community.”
This year we’ll be holding a special induction ceremony for Win Smith. Under Win’s ownership from 2001-2020, Sugarbush invested over $70 million in mountain improvements including 7 new lifts, significant upgrades to snowmaking, an ambitious revitalization of the Lincoln Peak Base Area, and real estate initiatives including Rice Brook and Gadd Brook. Win and his growing family, currently 28, remain dedicated Sugarbush skiers and riders. A pillar in the Mad River Valley Community, we are thrilled to have him join the Sugarbush Wall of Fame this year.
Annual Sugarbash Celebration
Kick off the season at Sugarbash from 7-10 PM! Groove to live music by the Dave Grippo Funk Band, enjoy great company, and strut your stuff in the Ugly Sweater Contest with prizes for the best (or worst) dressed. It’s a night of unforgettable fun for all ages, and admission is free!
